[Tips for my fellow authors]

-Try to refrain from making a chapter in this section. Please use either the male or female branch and start a story from there. [these branches are outdated; please see Christmas update below]

-You are not required to use all of the variables (37 total as of writing this). I suggest pick the characters you'd like, list down their code (whatever is between the brackets), and write your story centered around those characters.

-Writing in 2nd-person is not required. I just made it as such due to the two intro branches. Feel free to use 1st- or 3rd-person perspectives.

-[UPDATE 12/25/21] Following feedback from readers, I will change the story map so that readers will start by selecting a particular pill (regardless if they are male or female). This makes it possible to write as someone who does not take X-Change, yet observe someone else who takes it.

-[UPDATE 12/28/21] Introduction chapter has been updated with new pill Flavors, most of which can be found in the wiki on the X-Change subreddit. Credit to Aphrodite for updating the wiki. Notable additions "Conditional Flavors", two new pill Flavors under "Special Order", and new pill Flavors added under "Experimental Flavors."

-[UPDATE 1/13/22] "Non-Pill Varieties," which includes the popular X-Change Wearable, and "Black Market" chapters have been added. I will add over time the various different kinds of other Flavors (which show up in the Introduction), but most are ready and live. I believe I still need to add chapters to "Special Order" and "Experimental." Credit the themaddhatter for advising me to reformat the story map like this. And props to Friedman for moving my older stories from the now-closed chapters (namely "I am a male" and "I am a female").
